Upon submission, our intake-specialist removes the author’s name and any personal information from a work to preserve anonymity, before passing it to our content-editors. This team of four decides whether a piece meets our criteria, and selects which ones would be best for a particular issue.
The author will then be informed if their piece has been accepted or rejected, and if accepted, given the final choice of whether to move forward with publication.
The content-editors may also suggest a few adjustments to the work if necessary, or pass it on to one of our two line-editors, who will reach out to the author with any suggested changes.

Then, our formatter will ensure all selected pieces, illustrations, and our reviews and games sections are arranged properly for the print and digital editions of the issue.
Currently, our team is composed of 7 volunteers working to make all of this come together, and we are still seeking out volunteers to assist with editing poetry specifically, an artist or graphic-design specialist, and someone with experience in printing, to round out our team. If you love what we’re doing, have some expertise in one of these areas, and would like to get involved, consider sending us a message at co*****@***********et.com.
